Mission & Vision

At Monmouth Elementary School, our mission is to engage all students in high levels of learning. MES is a diverse community of learners who are compassionate and open-minded critical thinkers. 

Collective commitments:

  • We will use evidence of student learning to inform and improve our practice, and to better meet the needs of individual students.
  • We will teach the essential learnings of our agreed upon curriculum unit by unit.
  • We will use open communication with parents and caregivers.
  • We will be a positive contributing member of our collective team.
  • We will implement the components of PBIS (S.W.I.M Expectations) to encourage exemplary behavior and facilitate academic success.
  • We will build relationships that encourage an environment of trust, safety, and inclusiveness.
